Starting with the 3 things that you are suppose to do first when you have first discovered the your Identity has been stolen.
1) File a police report with your local police. This is required by all of the credit reporting agencies including the FTC. This is your first step.
2) Call all of the Credit Card companies and finance companies that you have accounts with including your bank where you checking account is at. This needs to be a quick second.
3) Notify the 3 credit reporting agencies to start the process with them.
